How Pawning Works?

STEP 1

We will conduct a Know-Your-Customer (KYC) on our customers.

STEP 2

We will conduct a visual and physical check of the item(s) to pledge.

STEP 3

Upon checking done, we will offer a pawn loan to the customer. Customers can decide whether to accept the pawn loan from us.

STEP 4

Once a customer agrees to accept our offered pawn loan, we will issue a pawn ticket and the pawn loan amount to the customer. The pledged item will be stored in our premise’s strongroom. The customer may redeem or renew his/her pawn ticket anytime within the 6 months period.

Validity Of Pawn Ticket

Every pawn ticket has a validity period of 6 months for the customers to redeem or renew. Upon expiry of the pawn ticket, we will send gentle reminders to our customers to redeem or renew their pawn tickets. In the event customers do not redeem or renew their pawn tickets, the pledged items will be sent for public auction for our cash recovery process.

Redemption of Pawned Items

At PAJAKING, customers can come to redeem their pawned items during the pawn loan tenure of 6 months. We safekeep all the customers’ pledged items in our strongroom and send gentle reminders to our customers to redeem back their pledged items. Upon redemption request, we will inform customers of the pawn loan amount and interest outstanding. Customers can redeem back the pawned items upon the full payment.

Pawn Loan Interest

We offer pawn loans with monthly interest not more than 2% to our customers. Our customers only need to pay the interest at the moment when they want to renew or redeem their pawn tickets. We do not have any hidden charges and we do not charge compounding interest to our customer.
